September 1, 2009 - still got what it takes after 25 years!
Readers of the Wrexham Evening Leader recently discovered that they have an IT company at the forefront of technology – on their very doorstep!
The paper published a glowing article about mwl, having reached its quarter of a century landmark. The journalist who wrote the piece commented on how mwl’s Managing Director Patrick Kingsley-Williams “talks with pride about the growth of the business, which has just had its best ever trading year and has added to its workforce over the last couple of months”.
Pulse, a regular feature in the Evening Leader series, spent an afternoon finding out about mwl, speaking to staff and touring their purpose built head office in Llay. The paper reported the recent announcement of mwl being one of only a few companies in the North West and North Wales to achieve the coveted Certified Partner status from global leader Dell. Also highlighted was the directors’ emphasis on staff development and training being instrumental in the company’s continued development and success.
Patrick was quoted as saying: “We pride ourselves on our consultancy skills, helping organisations to maximise their return from using technologies such as virtualisation with minimum investment. We tailor solutions to clients’ needs, simplifying their IT operations”.
After publication of the article, Patrick commented “It’s good to get some recognition in the local press, particularly as most of our staff live in and around the local area. Our staff are key to our success, and we have always believed that looking after our people will mean they in turn will look after our customers.
“At mwl, we have one shared business objective - quality of customer service – that is our core strength, and what gives us the competitive advantage over others in our field”.
